The Prostate Cancer UK Supporter Research Panel is an online research community comprised of supporters willing to share their opinions about all things important to Prostate Cancer UK’s supporter experience, including views on existing events and new fundraising ideas, communications and campaigns. To be eligible to participate in the Prostate Cancer UK Supporter Research Panel you will need to complete an initial survey that details how you support and interact with Prostate Cancer UK and some demographic questions to help us classify your answers. Once this survey has been completed you will become eligible to participate. You will find this registration survey if you go to the 'Home' page of this website.

The Prostate Cancer UK Supporter Research Panel is currently for UK residents only.
If you forget your password, go to the Home page on this website; click on the ‘Forgot your password?" link and enter your email address to request a new password.
For each study, you will receive an invitation by email to participate. The panel research will be conducted on the web. All you need to do is click on the link, or copy and paste the website address into your browser window. Then, simply follow the instructions on the screen to complete the survey. The survey link will also appear on the panel under the “My Profile” page.
Not necessarily. We will do our best to identify studies that look like a match based on your profile, but some of our research may include criteria which is not part of our membership information. In these cases, the only way to know if you qualify will be to ask you up front in the survey.
On average, you will be sent a survey invitation about once or twice per month. There will also be new QuickPolls posted to the site every week or two, as well as occasional new discussion forums for you to participate in.
You are welcome to take part in as many surveys and discussion forums as you like.
On average, our surveys are approximately 10 minutes long; however, some can be as short as 5 minutes and others can be longer than 15 minutes. All surveys and activities are completely voluntary and we let you know the approximate length of the survey in the invitation so you can plan accordingly. As well, surveys can be stopped and restarted later from where you left off if you are in a hurry.
Yes, community members can opt-out by clicking on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email invites. Alternatively, members can submit a request via the Contact Us form or send an email to support@prostatecanceruksrp.co.uk with the word "Unsubscribe" in the subject line.
Currently the Prostate Cancer UK Supporter Research Panel does not offer a reward scheme. From time to time there may be the opportunity to take part in research where we feel compensation is warranted, usually in the form of discounts within our supporter shop, free merchandise or vouchers. Our invitation for each survey or other activity will state the compensation.
